The Birchbark House
This is a historically accurate book about an Indian girl and the struggles that she goes through in her village and house. Throughout this book that little girl goes through a journey of figuring out herself as a person. I would use this book as an whole group chapter book read. It would be a great book to use if we are studying Indians.
