Harriet the Spy
Harriet the Spy is a classic children's book that everyone should have the joy of reading at one point in their life. This book is about Harriet who thinks she is a spy. She comes to learn that sometimes spying on people can be hurtful and get her into trouble. She also learns that things you say and write can be hurtful even if they might be true. I can use this in my classroom to teach my students that they have to be careful what they say. I would also use this as a whole group chapter book read.
